Owner&shared costs

In many residential complexes, there are annual "service charges" or "community charges" that are levied for the maintenance of communal facilities such as pools, gardens and gyms. These can vary depending on the location.

Financing

Mortgages for foreigners are possible, but the bank usually only finances up to 80% of the property value. At least 20 % must be paid as a down payment

Visa through real estate ownership

Foreigners with a property value of AED 750,000 or more are entitled to a 3-year investor visa, and those with a property value of over AED 2 million are eligible for a 10-year visa.
